International Street Culture Festival

Date: 11.06.2011

Place: Daugavpils, Latvija – Central Skatepark

Time: 10:00 – 16:00

„URBANSTYLE 2011” – it is international street culture festival that combines the most popular street culture directions like: Street Dance (breakdance & hip-hop), Extreme (Inline, Skateboard, BMX), Graffiti un Rap Music (MC, Freestyle). Festival will pass within the framework of celebration of days of Daugavpils city.

All festival winners will get valuable prizes and gifts from sponsors.

STREETDANCE categories:

 

  1. Streetdance SHOW – there could be choreos in dance styles like Streetdance (hip-hop, breakdance, locking, popping, krump, c-walk) and Clubdance (house, waacking, vogue), also Show dance (modern, jazz, ballet), although Show dance choreo should not dominate.
  2. Hip-Hop Crew Battle – hip-hop team battle, from 3 till 7 participants in a crew. In finals will compete eight strongest teams (play off). If the number of registered teams will be more than 8 will be made team selection.
  3. Breakdance Crew Battle – breakdance team battle, from 3 till 7 participants in a crew. In finals will compete eight strongest teams (play off). If the number of registered teams will be more than 8 will be made team selection.

2. B-Boy Pluto (Rufneck Attack), Kiev, Ukraina

A multiple winner and a judge of different tournaments in Europe, Russia, Ukraine.

-       Chelles Battle Pro 2009(Paris\France), 1.Place

-       Circle Prinz Finland 2009 (Helsinki\Finland), 1.Place

-       Team Europe at IBE 2009 (Heerlen\Holland), 1.Place

-       Jam Master 2010 (Kharkov\Ukraine), 1.Place

-       Outbreak Europe 2010 (Banska Bystrica\Slovakia), 1.Place

-       UK Scandinavian Elimination Solo 2010 (Helsinki\Finland), 1.Place

-       Red Bull BC One 2010, Ukraine, 1.Place

-       Red Bull BC One Final 2010, Japon, ¼

3. Francis “Switch” Brako, Stockholm, Sweden

A winner and judge of tournaments in  Scandinavian countries and Europe.

- Open European Street Dance Cup (EM) (2008), 2.Place

- Pump Up The Jam (2008), 2.Place

- All-Star Session (2010), 2.Place

- Riga Challenge 2009, 2.Place

- Soul Step Festival 2009, 1.Place

- Groundmasterz 2010, 1.Place

Participation & Registration

Participation Fee in STREETDANCE SHOW category – 5.00 Euros per partricipant.

Participation Fee in HIP-HOP Crew Battle – 30.00 Euros per Crew.

Participation Fee in BREAKDANCE Crew Battle – 30.00 Euros per Crew.

Participation Fee going on prize money for Winners of Hip-Hop Crew Battle and Breakdance Crew Battle from membership fees in these categories.

Regisrtation is open until 01.06.2011. APPLICATION FORM for participation is ANNEX BELOW!!!
